Symbio Portfolio PictureAs a developer of powerful staffing solutions for healthcare organizations, Symbio outsourced its entire marketing function to OnMessageTHRIVE so they could capitalize on the large market opportunities the company desired to pursue. THRIVE, in turn, developed an integrated marketing plan for Symbio that included powerful print advertising and direct marketing campaigns. To break through the clutter within the niche and build awareness of this relatively new company, THRIVE also created a branding campaign leveraging simple imagery not typically seen in healthcare industry marketing materials. Visuals such as a bowl of cereal, a box of blueberries, and a bee buzzing around a flower, combined with compelling and concise messaging, helped Symbio secure additional market share in a very short period of time. In fact, this initial effort was so successful, that in early 2007 Symbio asked THRIVE to develop the next phase in the branding campaign. Again, using simple imagery found in nature, THRIVE created a refreshed look and feel that spanned everything from a corporate Web site and collateral materials to online and traditional advertising. The brochure was recognized with a silver Davey Award and the Web site was awarded a gold from Healthcare Marketing Report.
